Turtle Experience Package

It is time to dust the sand off the welcome mat in preparation for the arrival of hundreds of sea turtles who return to Heron Island year after year for their annual breeding and nesting season.

Although you can swim with turtles year-round at Heron Island, from November to March, endangered Loggerhead and Green Sea Turtles return on the high tide to nest in the dunes. Then from December to April, be enchanted by hatchlings as they begin to erupt from their nests.

To be part of this magical experience take advantage of our Turtle Package, which allows you to view the turtles in the water, through an underwater window or with a glass of wine in your hand. The choice is yours!
 
Pricing is based on accommodation chosen and includes:

• A $100 Marine Centre Voucher – which can be used towards a tour of your choice, including a Snorkel Tour, I-Spy Semi-Submersible Tour or Sunset Cruise

Terms and Conditions:  Minimum of 3 night stay required. Subject to availability. Package inclusions are not interchangeable or redeemable for cash and any unused portion cannot be refunded. 1 x $100 Marine Centre Voucher is included in the package and excludes; dive courses, Discovery Program and merchandise available at the Marine Centre store. Tours and presentations are subject to weather restrictions, tides and scheduling. Tours will not be refunded if cancelled due to weather. Further conditions may apply.
Child Policy: Children 12 years and under in addition to the 2 guests included in the rates will incur a charge of $30 per child per night when using existing bedding. Price includes daily Breakfast and Snorkel, Mask and Flippers hire for length of stay.
Additional Adults: Adults in addition to the 2 guests included in the rates will incur a charge of $105 per adult per night when using existing bedding. Price includes daily Breakfast and Snorkel, Mask and Flippers hire for length of stay.
Extra Bedding: Porta Cot is Free of Charge if required. Additional cost of $75 per day if Roll Away Bed required.
