There's no need for day trips to the Great Barrier Reef because you're already there, so you can easily enjoy up to three full dives a day. There are over twenty different dive sites, more than half of which are just fifteen minutes from the beach. With so many acres of living coral literally teeming with fish, it's easy to see why keen divers keep coming back to Heron.

Getting There
Voyages Heron Island is located 72km NE off the coast from Gladstone, central Queensland. Regular flights are available from all Australian capital cities to Gladstone with Qantas. From Gladstone guests can choose between a boat or helicopter transfer to Voyages Heron Island.

*Conditions apply. Subject to availability. Package has a 5 night minimum stay. Rates are valid for travel from 01 May 07 to 31 August 07 inclusive. Rates are valid for new bookings only, as recorded and received from 30 April 07. To book this rate the rate code DS must be quoted. The discount offered here is only applicable to this offer. Snorkel and dive equipment charges apply. Extra person rates apply when sharing a room with min. 2 adults. The extra person rate does not include the 5 dives or the spa treatment. #Children 12 years and under stay and eat free at the resort restaurant, eating from the buffet or children's menu, when staying and dining with a full paying adult using existing bedding. When only one adult is travelling with children, the Sole Use adult rate will apply to the booking. Children 0 - 3 years - no charge for cots. The child rate does not include the 5 dives. Rates are quoted in Australian dollars inclusive of GST at 10%. All credit card payments incur a transaction fee of 1%. Payment can be made by EFTPOS, cash or cheque which does not attract a transaction fee. Arrival and departure details must be supplied no later than 7 days prior to arrival.
